The DTEK company has announced an ambitious program for the development of renewable generation. It is planned to put 500 MW of solar power into operation by the end of this year.
The projects are being implemented at three sites in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. The total amount of investments will be about €280 million, of which 40% is financed by EBRD and EIB loans.
According to the company's calculations, the new facilities will provide electricity to 250,000 households during the day.
