As reported by Open4Business, Ukrainian enterprises of the grain processing and food industry presented their products at the international exhibition SIAL Paris 2026, which opened on October 17 in France and will last until October 21. Union "Flour Millers of Ukraine" participates in the exhibition within the collective Ukrainian stand, demonstrating the production capabilities and export potential of the domestic grain processing industry.
As reported by the Union "Flour Millers of Ukraine" in social networks, the participation of Ukrainian producers is organized with the support of the Swiss import promotion program SIPPO, initiated by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) within the framework of cooperation in the field of economic development.
Among Ukrainians enterprises and brands represented by the Union at the exhibition, named "Ukrprominvest-Agro", YEDNIST' GROUP, Khmelnytska Pasta Factory (Ukrpasta), ALVIVA GROUP, "Rumyanets" trademark, Ekor.ua, "Western Bug" and The Miller (Ukrainian Stone Mills).
Participants present the possibilities of the Ukrainian food industry in the production of flour, pasta, cereals, bakery and other grain processing products.
The main purpose of participation in SIAL Paris 2026 is to establish direct contacts with international importers, distributors and trade networks, promote Ukrainian products on the world market, find new partners and expand geography of export.
For Ukrainian grain processing enterprises, participation in international exhibitions is of particular importance given the need to diversify foreign markets and increase exports of value-added products. Unlike the export of grain as a raw material, the supply of flour, groats, pasta and ready-made food products allows to leave most of the cost of processing in Ukraine.
Ukrainian manufacturers also get the opportunity to familiarize themselves with new technologies of the food industry, modern solutions in the field of packaging, international requirements for product quality and safety, and consumer demand trends.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine, published on October 15, 2026, the Ukrainian food industry is represented at SIAL Paris by 107 participants - exporting companies, as well as 15 organizations business support.
In general, Ukraine is represented by seven collective stands and 28 individual exhibitions. The majority of Ukrainian manufacturers work in the segments of grocery products, confectionery, cookies, pastries and dairy products.
Union "Flour Millers of Ukraine" participates in the collective stand of Ukrainian business support organizations in pavilion 1, stand A128. It was organized by the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development and the national project "Action. Business" with the support of SIPPO.
SIAL Paris is one of the largest international of food and beverage exhibitions, which is held every two years at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition complex. In 2026, about 8,000 exhibitors from 130 countries are expected to participate, and the number of professional visitors may reach 285,000 people.
The exhibition brings together food manufacturers, international trade networks, importers, distributors, restaurant business representatives and investors. For Ukrainian companies, it is one of the platforms for entry into new markets and the development of international commercial partnerships.
The Union "Four Mills of Ukraine" is an industry association of Ukrainian producers of flour, cereals, bread, confectionery and pasta products, cereal snacks, cereals and dry breakfast foods. The organization represents the interests of enterprises of the grain processing complex, promotes the development of production cooperation, the introduction of modern technologies, the improvement of product quality, and the expansion of exports. One of the areas of its activity is the establishment of international partnerships, participation in specialized exhibitions and the promotion of Ukrainian grain processing products on foreign markets.
