In Ukraine, 107.4 thousand individual entrepreneurs in the field of retail trade work outside stationary stores, in particular, they are engaged in sales via the Internet, according to Opendatabot data as of the beginning of September 2026 and their processing by the analytical center Experts Club.
This category accounts for about 16% of all 659.09 thousand FOPs working in Ukraine retail.
Entrepreneurs who trade in non-specialized stores remain the largest group — about 208,000, or 32% of the total number.
Another 159,900 FOPs, or 24%, work in markets and from sales stands.
In specialized stores, 82,800 sell various categories of goods. entrepreneurs Another 47.6 thousand FOPs specialize in the sale of food, beverages and tobacco products.
In total, 659.09 thousand entrepreneurs are currently working in the field of retail trade in Ukraine. After the reduction in the number of FOPs in 2025, the segment began to grow again: in the first eight months of 2026, the number of new registrations exceeded the number of closures by 8.2 thousand.
