The IMF updated its forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth this year to 4.5%, compared to the previous estimate of 3.2%. This was the second increase in the fund's forecast during the year.
IMF analysts note several positive factors: better-than-expected yields in the first half of the year, growth in the construction sector in the liberated territories, and consistently high income from IT exports.
At the same time, the fund remains cautious about the risks associated with the duration of the conflict and the state of the energy infrastructure.
