Poland, Romania and Lithuania provided 83% of all diesel fuel imports to Ukraine in July 2026, which indicates a high concentration of the country's fuel logistics in three European directions.
In general, Ukraine imported 562,000 tons of diesel fuel during the month - 5% more than in July last year, according to the study of the "Consulting Group A-95".
Poland became the largest supplier — 202.8 thousand tons, or about 36% of all imports. During the year, Polish supplies increased by 26% — from 161,000 tons.
Romania was in second place with 179,300 tons. Supplies increased by 25% and reached the highest level since the beginning of 2025.
In third place is Lithuania, which showed the highest growth rate among the three main suppliers. Imports from there increased by 65% — from 51,200 to 84,300 tons.
Together, these three countries delivered about 466,000 tons of diesel fuel out of 562,000 tons of total imports.
This supply structure was the result of a significant restructuring of Ukrainian fuel logistics.
According to the director of "A-95" Serhiy Kuyun, the increase in the load on the Polish route is primarily related to the record shallowing of the Danube and security risks.
At the same time, the value of a number of alternative routes has sharply decreased. Supplies from Hungary decreased from approximately 80,000 tons in July last year to 42,700 tons this year, and from Greece - from 60,700 to 33,100 tons. Imports from Turkey also decreased to several thousand tons.
The high concentration of supplies enables the Ukrainian market to use the developed infrastructure of EU countries, but at the same time increases its dependence on the stability of several main logistics corridors.
At the corporate level, the largest supplier remains ORLEN S.A., which through its oil refineries in Poland and Lithuania shipped 137,000 tons of diesel fuel to Ukraine - about quarters of total imports.
